Turn a photo or graphic into a dot screen for printing on a dark T-shirt — in one ink colour (screen printing) or in full colour (DTF). A 300 DPI PNG at the size you set.

On a black T-shirt you print with light ink, so the dots stand for the light areas — black parts of the image get no ink and the shirt shows through. You get a PNG with a transparent background at 300 DPI, with the size in centimetres stored in the file. Your image isn’t uploaded anywhere — everything runs in your browser.

1. Image

PNG or JPG. A photo or graphic with clear light and shadow works best.

2. Print size

Proportions follow the image — change one and the other updates. Resolution: 300 DPI.

Presets

DTF fine screen: colours as in the image, dots only where it fades to black, lighter areas in solid colour.

3. Screen

Rows of dots per inch. Screen printing on T-shirts is usually 35–65; lower = bigger, bolder dots.

For one colour, typically 22.5° or 45°.

Dot shape

Smaller dots are dropped — they wouldn’t hold on the screen anyway.

Larger dots become solid ink.

4. Tones

Like Levels in Photoshop: everything lighter than this goes solid ink, dots stay only in the darker tones.

5. Colours

In one-colour mode the shirt colour is only for the preview.
